The Friends Provident International Student Accommodation Fund seeks to achieve capital growth with security by investing in University Halls of Residence within the UK.

Such acquisitions may be leased either to institutes of education or directly to individual students for the purpose of student accommodation.

This investment may be considered low risk due to a number of factors including 1) demand for university accommodation exceeds supply, 2) rent is paid in advance, 3) Occupancy rates are high and 4) bad debts are low.

The minimum investment in this fund is £15000 and an early surrender penalty will be applied for the first five years. However, regular withdrawals of up to 10% per annum may be made from the fund free of any penalty provided that a minimum of £5000 is maintained in the account.
